Queenie’s Toy Library Workshop has been a blessing since my family arrived Sudbury, Ontario, Canada last year. We have had the privilege of attending different seminars ranging from lecture on ADHD, Parenting ways in Canada etc.; these educative seminars have been a blessing to new immigrant families like ours, helping us to settle down well here in Canada. In addition, my children and other children have the opportunity to borrow toys and books for 2 weeks, this take away the stress from new immigrant parents buying toys and children books for their children. Also, there are also gift items after sessions to families, some of the items help ease stress. Queenie’s Toy Library Workshop is indeed a blessing to us new immigrants.

Queenie’s Toy Library has had a great impact on me as a parent because of the Parents Workshops that I attend there. Parents with similar challenges meet to give support, practical advice, and encouragement to each other because all come with similar interests, come together in a safe place to exchange ideas, share experiences, give and receive information, and at the same time, offer and receive support.
